Quality Care Solutions (QCS) is Smiths Falls' homegrown answer to a very real problem in healthcare: who shows up when the system is stretched thin? As the first staffing agency rooted right in their own community, QCS provides relief staffing to long-term care homes, retirement homes, and private in-home support across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville, Kingston, Ottawa, and beyond.
With streamlined processes built for speed and reliability, QCS has become a trusted partner in meeting urgent staffing needs, while never losing sight of the human at the centre of it all. They aspire to lead the industry in staffing relief solutions, placing emphasis on exceptional, client-centred quality — and they've got the community trust, the responsive team, and the track record to back it up.

When Quality Care Solutions came to me, they had a big heart and a clear mission, but the visual language to match it hadn't been built yet. I started from the ground up: branding, marketing assets, and a full website, all designed around a deceptively simple but deeply intentional goal: make it work for everyone.
That meant holding two audiences in mind at every single decision. The seniors receiving care, and the adult children researching options on their behalf at 11pm, worried and Googling. Neither of them has patience for confusion and neither of them should need it.
Every service QCS offers presented its own design puzzle. How do you communicate nursing foot care with warmth, not clinical coldness? How do you make transportation services feel safe and dignified rather than transactional? The answer was always rooted in accessibility as the forefront and treating it as the creative brief itself. My WCAG accessibility certification came into full use here: contrast ratios, type sizing, layout hierarchy, and reading flow were non-negotiables from day one.
The result is a brand that feels as trustworthy as the care QCS delivers. Legible at a glance, welcoming at every touchpoint, and built to speak fluently to the people who need it most.
