Design begins

I'm Kim Jacob-Pierre, Creative Art Director of Moss&Grid pocketing 10 years of experience in leading brands. I design with empathy at the core, always leading with people in mind. My work prioritizes clarity, function, and ease; thoughtful design that’s intuitive and simple without ever feeling stripped back. It's more than just how I work, It’s who I am as a person.
A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts with scholarship, where I built a strong multidisciplinary foundation across graphic design, UI/UX, web development, photography, and videography. Over time, I chose to focus my practice on branding, website development, and video; spaces where strategy, storytelling, and craft intersect most meaningfully to me.
Design with substance. Clear and intentional.
Visuals that communicates in a moment and resonates across cultures, communities, and audiences.
While my work is visually driven, I place just as much value on research and intention. I’m a bookworm at heart, drawn to imaginative worlds and layered narratives, something that naturally informs how I think about design and storytelling.
To me, beauty without substance is incomplete. Visuals only succeed when they’re grounded in research, informed by behaviour, and designed with real-world function in mind. I especially enjoy collaborating with marketing and product researchers, where insights and data help shape work that can be measured, tested, and refined through user experience.
Outside of work, I slow down with the simple things—getting lost in a good book, coffee in hand while wandering plant shops, baking far too many cookies for my daughter and husband, clearing thoughts at the gym, and ending the day watching sunset with my little family.
